We’re growing fast and we need help! We’re looking for:
- Project Coordinators: We’re looking for coordinators to lead our project efforts for statues, stamps, monuments, street names, and more. For statue projects, the task involves coming up with a list of five exceptional women in your home state, and meeting with a friendly member of your state legislature so that legislation can be passed to replace a current statue. EVE staff will help you every step of the way, and fly to your state to meet with your state legislature.
- State Coordinators: We’re looking for 50 state coordinators. State coordinators will have oversight of all projects in that state: statues, street signs, monuments, etc.
- Local Advocates: We need local helpers in all states — writing letters, doing research, contacting legislators, even posting comments and blog articles.
- Interns: We’re looking for interns to do research into gender parity and women’s history, and perform surveys and statistical analyses of existing iconography. We also need web interns.
Please email us at volunteers@equalvisibilityeverywhere.org to volunteer or to request more information.
