Come meet Harriet Beecher Stowe!
March 19, 2010 by EVE · 3 Comments »

Jacquie Hurwitz as Harriet Beecher Stowe. Ms. Hurwitz will perform as part of a living history presentation sponsored by EVE at the Ohio Historical Center on Saturday, March 20, 2010.
EVE is sponsoring its first public event tomorrow, and if you’re within driving distance of Columbus, Ohio, you don’t want to miss it.
We’ve arranged with Ms. Jacquie Hurwitz (above) and two other actors to portray Ohio’s three women nominees for Statuary Hall. Ms. Hurwitz will be in costume as Harriet Beecher Stowe, a role she has performed frequently in her own one-woman show.
The other performers will portray Judith Resnik (in a NASA astronaut suit!) and suffragist Harriet Taylor Upton.
The presentation starts at 12:00 noon and will run until 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 20. The location is the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus:
